WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO SIGN UP?
To be eligible, you must either be an Australian citizen or living in an Australian address. You must also be over the age of 18 and prepared to complete the KYC verification check by providing a photo of your passport or driver licence.
HOW DO I VERIFY MY ACCOUNT?
You will need either a passport or driver licence and a selfie to verify your account. Once approved, you can transfer crypto into your Wayex account from an external wallet or deposit AUD into your account and start purchasing crypto. HOW DO I GET THE WAYEX CARD?
Get yourself verified to order the Wayex card. Once you have been verified, insert your delivery address for the physical card or instantly add your digital Wayex card to your digital wallet and start spending crypto. HOW DOES THE WAYEX CARD WORK?
Once you deposit crypto into your account, you can use the digital or physical card to spend your crypto. At point of sale, our app will convert your crypto to AUD and you can use the Wayex card at any store or business that accepts Visa.
HOW MUCH CAN I SPEND ON MY CARD?
You can spend up to $1000 per transaction and you can make as many transactions you like throughout your day. Once you hit the maximum lifetime spend limit on your card ($150,000), we will organise a new card for you to be delivered for free and you can continue spending crypto!
CAN I USE THE WAYEX CARD OVERSEAS?
Yes, you will be able to use the card anywhere in the world and online with merchants and businesses that accept Visa. We do not charge any foreign exchange fees.
WHAT FEES DO YOU CHARGE?
We currently offer a 1% fee for buying crypto. We do not charge deposit or withdrawal fees. We also have a crypto-to-AUD transaction fee of 2-3%. HOW DO I BUY CRYPTO?
Add funds to your Wayex account by making your first deposit via PayID or using BSB and Account number. Once you have the funds in your account, simply click ‘Buy Crypto’ and choose the amount of crypto you would like to purchase with your AUD.
